FAQ

We have the largest outdoor granite Yard in New England which allows us to stock a large variety of inventory. Our inventory is hand selected by the owners. We provide in-house fabrication of all materials you select for the ultimate all-in-one experience.
It’s rare we won’t have what you’re looking for, but regardless, we always encourage our customers to go with the exact products they want. We will work to find the perfect countertop for you if we don’t have it on hand. Since we fabricate all countertops in-house, we can purchase stone at the lowest possible price and then fabricate it to fit your space.
We have been in the countertop business for two decades. Given our vast experience, we can assist you in making the best choice possible for your budget, space, aesthetic, and cooking habits; every surface has its own unique qualities and we’ll work closely with you to determine what will work best, for you and your home.
We recommend visiting our showroom with a picture of your space and rough dimensions of your desired countertop. If you are trying to match an existing cabinet color, we encourage you to bring in a door/drawer for our sales staff to assist you in the color selection process.
We are not a one-size-fits-all business so you can rest easy knowing your job will be priced by way of custom proposal. We will visit your home to discuss what exactly you’re looking to do and take precise measurements. Once materials are selected, we’ll provide you with a detailed scope of work/pricing.
It may be necessary to put seams in your countertop depending on the size, layout, and dimensions of your space. You will work directly with our Template Specialist regarding seam placement.
Mild soap and water is the best thing to use to clean your countertops.

We stress to never use harsh chemicals or abrasive pads to clean your stone, as even the most gentle cleansers may cause damage to your countertops.
Natural stone is porous and as a result susceptible to staining. When we install your natural stone countertops, we will seal them once for you. After installation, it is recommended to seal your countertops regularly each year. Our educated sales staff will inform you on the sealing/care process for your countertops, and we will recommend the best products to use. We offer Stone Essentials products that are safe to use on your countertops. Their product is made right here in Coventry, RI.
We recommend always using a cutting board. Cutting on granite products will most likely not leave scratches, but it will dull your knives.
Granite is not typically affected by heat, however, placing a hot object on a cool surface has been known to result in thermal shock. Under most conditions, your countertops will be fine, though there have been occurrences where countertops have cracked and therefore we recommend always taking the proper measures in protecting them.
